Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our global mediation rankings and how we assess mediation services worldwide

How do you rank mediation services?

We evaluate mediation providers based on multiple criteria including professional accreditation, years of experience, client testimonials, success rates, specialist expertise, and adherence to industry standards. Our team reviews publicly available information, professional registrations, and feedback from users. Each country’s rankings are independently assessed to ensure local context is considered.

Can mediation services pay to be included in your rankings?

No. Our rankings are based purely on merit and research. While we offer advertising opportunities on the site, these do not influence ranking positions. Services can request to be considered for ranking, but inclusion and position are determined solely by our assessment criteria.

How often are your rankings updated?

We review and update our country rankings quarterly to reflect changes in the mediation landscape. New services may be added, and existing rankings adjusted based on updated information, client feedback, and changes in professional standing. Major updates are published on our blog.

Do your rankings cover family and civil mediation separately?

Yes. We maintain separate top 10 rankings for family mediation services and civil/commercial mediation services in each country. This is because the skills, approaches, and specialisms required for these areas differ significantly, and users typically need one or the other.

Which countries do you currently cover?

We currently rank mediation services in 10 countries: United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, United States, Brazil, India, Australia, Canada, and South Africa. We’re continuously expanding our coverage and welcome suggestions for additional countries where mediation services would benefit from independent rankings.

How can my mediation service be considered for ranking?

Contact us at hola@worldmediationforum.com with details about your service, including accreditations, experience, specialisms, and any client testimonials. We’ll review your submission against our ranking criteria. Meeting our standards doesn’t guarantee inclusion, as we only rank the top 10 services per category per country.
